JULY 2021
STAFF TASTING

BELL HILL CHARDONNAY

2015

Smoky with white nectarine, energetic with depth and a chaotic density. Vibrant and balanced with crisp acid and grip. Mouth filling.

2011

Soft pleasing oyster shell entry, good acid with pillowy loft, awakening in the glass.

2009

Fuller bodied, riper in style than the 2015 and 2011, rounder, salty, soe more tropical notes, cuttin line and finish. Could benefit from a gentle decant.

BELL HILL PINOT NOIR

2015

Savoury with forest floor and baking spice inermixed, very textural, bright red fruits, cool, building in tannins but still soft and supple with a stony edge.

2011

Grippy enticing tannins, salty, dried flower petals, open, shows itself readily - not shy, mouth watering.

BELL HILL OLD WEKA PASS ROAD PINOT NOIR

2004

Well aged Pinot! Forest Floor but still with fruit sweetness. No sense of immediate decline.
